To understand why Delta Rigging Company was born, you need to know where we come from.

My name is Hunter McDaniel, I was raised in the bottomlands of North Louisiana—where hunting, fishing, and trapping weren’t just weekend hobbies, it was a way of life.

My love for the outdoors was instilled in me from an early age by my father. He passed his passion for the outdoors to me. For that, I am forever grateful.

I spent my weekend mornings chasing deer, pigs, rabbits, squirrels, or wood ducks. I spent my evenings running traps and lines in Castor Creek and working cows. That deep-rooted love for the outdoors shaped me into who I am today.

Through all of the lessons that I learned while spending time in the creation, I learned to honor the Creator of it all. I believe every creek bottom, every whisper of wings overhead, and every sunrise breaking through the trees is a reminder of God’s hand in our lives.

Sitting in a tree stand or waist deep in flooded timber, I still find peace watching His creation unfold before me. These moments are more than memories—they’re the foundation of Delta Rigging Company.
